Our Vision
Ten years ago, Mr. Mushtaq Hussain laid the foundation of Al Elm Foundation Academy with a simple yet powerful vision to provide quality education to underprivileged children. The school started as a small institution in Pehalwan Goth, Karachi, relying on charity and donations to sustain itself. Despite the challenges, the goal remained clear—to educate and empower the next generation
Early Growth & Challenges
At first, the school operated in a small rented space. As the number of students grew, Mr. Mushtaq Hussain allocated a building to accommodate them. However, financial difficulties soon began to arise. With limited funds and growing operational costs, the school faced a severe risk of shutting down. The dream of providing education to children in need was in danger.
A Turning Point
In early 2023, a new hope emerged when Mr. Ali Irfan Naqvi joined as a partner and co-owner. Determined to bring the school back to life, he invested and actively collected donations and funds. His dedication sparked a transformation that changed the future of the institution.
Transformations & Major Developments
- Expansion: A third floor was added to accommodate more students.
Technology Access: A computer lab was built, giving students the opportunity to learn modern skills.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were repainted, making the learning environment more welcoming. The Montessori Section was shifted to Solar Energy
Facilities: A fresh drinking water system was installed for students’ health and well-being.
Better Staff: Qualified and dedicated teachers were hired to improve the quality of education
Extracurricular Growth: Educational, fun, and extracurricular activities were introduced, enriching the overall student experience.
Encouraging students to learn and participate in Naatkhuwani, and Manqabatkhuwani to preserve and promote religious and cultural values.
